7Air Expands Fleet with Delivery of Fourth B37-800 Freighter

7Air, a fast-growing regional cargo airline, announced the delivery of its fourth Boeing 737-800 freighter, further strengthening its operational capacity and reinforcing its commitment to reliable cargo solutions for the Caribbean and Central America.

The new addition reflects 7Air’s strategy of operating a single-type fleet composed exclusively of Boeing 737-800 freighters, widely recognized for their efficiency, flexibility, and reliability in short- and medium-haul markets. By standardizing its fleet, 7Air ensures operational consistency and cost efficiency, allowing the airline to deliver enhanced value to its customers.

“We only operate 737-800 freighters. That is our preferred aircraft, and for the first two years, our plan is to remain with that one type of aircraft,” said Carlos Cock, CEO of TXG, 7Air’s Parent Company. “All of our aircraft are currently on lease, but we are looking to purchase our own by the third quarter of next year. For our immediate needs, leased aircraft give us the flexibility to scale quickly and meet growing customer demand.”

Building on this momentum, 7Air plans to add four additional Boeing 737-800 freighters by next year, effectively doubling its fleet and expanding its ability to capture market share in its core regions.

7Air Launches Services in Antigua & Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda has strengthened its cargo transport network with the official launch of 7 Air, which made its inaugural flight from Miami to V.C. Bird International Airport on September 10.

The new service will operate every Wednesday, offering businesses and residents a consistent shipping option. Officials say the addition will expand capacity, improve reliability, and help meet rising demand for imports and exports between Antigua and the United States

7Air Inauguration Ceremony

Miami-based cargo airline 7Air officially celebrated its inaugural ceremony at Miami International Airport (MIA) on August 11, 2025 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of its B737-800SF aircraft.

The event was attended by Michael Mendez, CEO of 7Air; Amos Rodriguez, Vice President of The Xtreme Group; Carlos Cock, CEO of The Xtreme Group (TXG); Jose Rodriguez, Chairman and Managing Partner of TXG; and Ralph Cutié, MIA Director and CEO.

The airline currently operates three B737-800SF aircraft and plans to add a fourth by the end of 2025.
